iPhone SE 2 Might Replace iPhone 8 In Apple Lineup

There are strong rumors doing the rounds in the tech market that Apple’s upcoming wonder iPhone SE 2 will wipe out iPhone 8 from the apple series. According to Apple analyst Ming-chi Kuo, iPhone SE 2 is likely to be more pocket-friendly and powerful than iPhone 8. iPhone SE 2 is going to enter in the market with an entry-level price of $399 with 64 GB storage. It can also be upgraded to 128 GB approximately at $449 or $499 whereas iPhone 8 is available in the market for $449, only with 64 GB storage. Much like the other new age iPhones, iPhone SE 2 is expected to feature Apple’s latest A13 processor similar to iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 pro. iPhone SE 2 will also have 3 GB RAM, which is only 1 GB less than the iPhone 11 lineup, which will be efficient enough to bear the bulk on its shoulders.

SE 2 will have the design similar to the iPhone 8 with 4.7 inches display and a home button. Apple has given only a single-lens camera at the back to make iPhone SE 2 more cost-effective. It will be available in 3 shades space grey, red, and silver said, Mr Kuo. With this new low-cost iPhone, Apple is surely trying to target those upgraders who have been using iPhone 6 and iPhone SE for years. The credit goes to its A13 processor, which ensures that iPhone SE 2 will be supported by iOS in the long run. Due to the immense popularity of iPhone 6, iPhone 7, and iPhone 8, Apple has come up with the same design but at the same time pushing the envelope with the A13 processor.

The former version of iPhone SE 2, iPhone SE was launched in 2016 in the lines of the iPhone 5 era. The original iPhone SE was introduced to offer specifications of then modern-day iPhone lineup with 4 inches display. After 2 years of discontinuation of iPhone SE, now iPhone SE 2 will be available for the gadget lovers in the same price slot as the original iPhone SE with much better and powerful features. iPhone SE 2 will be a great deal for those consumers who are still using iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus, as these handsets do not support iOS 13 anymore. Considering the fact, that Apple has evidently reserved the month of March for its special events, iPhone SE 2 is supposed to be unveiled in the first quarter of 2020.
